About the game
How is a cut scored?

Each piece shows its share of the shape, to a tenth of a percent. The closer you get to 50% / 50%, the more points: up to 100 per cut, and 200 for a PERFECT 50.0% / 50.0%. In Daily challenge and Classic, a cut more than 5% off ends the run.

How does the Daily challenge work?

Everyone gets the same shapes each day, with a new challenge at 00:00 UTC. You have three tries a day, and your best one counts on the Daily leaderboard.

What is Precise mode?

After a good cut you keep one piece and cut it again. You start with a ±5% margin, and it gets 0.5% tighter with each cut. Your score is the number of successful cuts.

My swipe didn't count.

Start and end your swipe outside the shape, and cut it into exactly two pieces.

I don't see the leaderboards.

Leaderboards use Game Center. Open the Settings app, tap Game Center, and sign in, then return to the game. Your scores still count on your device while you're signed out.

How do I see only my friends?

On the Leaderboards screen, choose Friends. Friends you add in Game Center appear there.

Can I change the language?

Half/Cut follows your iPhone's language (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, or Russian). To use a different one for this game only, go to Settings › Half/Cut › Language.

How do I turn off sound, music, or vibration?

In the game, open Settings.
